Me mind on fire
Me soul on fire, feeling hot, hot, hot
Party people
All around me feeling hot, hot, hot
Went out photowalking at a different park this morning and pushed two rolls of film through the Pentax 17. It was cool in the shade with a nice breeze. By the time I headed back to the car after 144 half-frames the sunlight was getting a bit ferocious. Went home and was safely inside by the time the temp hit 104. Tomorrow? 107. Editor’s Note 1:
I’ve been thinking lately about doing more videos for Foto.Feola.Fridays; I like the way I can show more videos that way. I’m combining the Vlog and Foto-Feola.Friday for the next few weeks for coverage of the Pentax 17. I think that will be an interesting test. Lots and lots of photos are developing right now!

I’ve been rather remiss doing anything to monetize Perfecting Equilibrium. It’s not a big deal; I do rather well with my consulting and freelancing. And the biggest reason is that I’m not enthused about doing it the Substack way, putting the best stuff behind a paywall. Especially because that would force me to change how Perfecting Equilibrium works as a LinkedIn newsletter. There are currently 172 Perfecting Equilibrium subscribers on Substack, and 352 on LinkedIn. And the readership on LinkedIn is even larger; Perfecting Equilibrium has 18,125 impressions on LinkedIn over the last 90 days. Finally, sticking the “best” stuff behind a Substack paywall is just antithetical for me; it just doesn’t fit with the conversation I’m trying to generate around the tectonic changes taking place in content and media. All this is a long meander on the way to my point; I’ve come across something new I’d like to try. It’s called Buy Me a Cup of Coffee; if you particularly like something you can hit the button and do exactly that. No fuss. No muss. No commitments. No pressure. Anyay, here ‘tis:

Easter Eggs
My brain is a peculiar place; it likes to play word association, and then play back songs with those words. Here are the songs playing in my mind as I wrote these articles.
