Have you figured out what settings give the best images? There is a setting for Image Quality, Options 20m, 18m, 16m12,10,8, 5, 3, 2 & 1. Also a setting for Resolution , 1080P, 720P or VGA. There are also about 12 different Filters if you press the top button (of the 4 buttons) to scroll, when in pic taking mode, through them. It appears there maybe an Infrared mode, B/W mode, red filter, green filter, distortions and Happy Birthday etc. Also you can Zoom up to 8x by pressing and holding the top button of the 4 buttons.
My images have not come out as nice as yours. I either have the wrong Image quality or Resolution settings wrong or it's just a faulty camera.
The trick with the GEM Retro Digital Camera is to remember you're shooting a toy lens. I'm shooting with all default settings, but I am VERY careful to avoid flare -- toy lenses cannot handle it. Be sure to always shoot away from the sun and any strong light sources, and you'll be much happier with the results. And I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
