Photos I took while wandering Korea in 1985. Headed up the country to a village far off the beaten path. When we reached it the main street was fully paved. All four blocks of it. The entire village turned out to greet us. It was pretty amazing, actually.

I hope you enjoy these images from a half-century ago.

They were so happy to see us they served us their best food. Which I stupidly ate.
