I tried a roll of CineStill 50Daylight Fine Grain Color Negative Film in my Pentax 17, and got the scans back today. Tried a new lab, too. Both were…OK

Muted colors like this were pretty nice.

But it lacks the snap of my fav films.

Every time I get back negs and scans from some new film lately I have the same thought:

Why didn’t I just shoot Ektachrome 100?

So I just bought a box of Ektachrome 100 120 for the Pentax 645. Looking forward to seeing that film matched up with those great Pentax 645 lenses.
