Wooden fences.
I’m starting to learn the Huawei P9 with its Leica Monochrome Sensor the only way I know how; I just go out and shoot and shoot and shoot with it. After enough frames I no longer notice the camera and I just shoot.

Sunday July 13 — On Holiday With A Broken Camera; Saying goodbye to the Sony Xperia Pro-I, the camera that’s been in my pocket every day for four years. It’s basically a Sony RX100 with a phone attached. The camera still works, sorta. The rest of it…not so much.
Blown highlights but lots of shadow detail. Damn nice.
With my Pentax K1 and K3 and my Sony Alphas, my default is always minus 1/3 stop but my Samsung S23 seems to have the computing power to coast on full auto. Wonder if there's some buried control on the phone you are playing with.
