Prove I'm alright song (hey, ha)
My power's turned on (hey)
Starting right now, I'll be strong (hey)
I'll play my fight song (hey)
And I don't really care if nobody else believes (ha)

After my article on The New Golden Age of Black & White I started to wonder how much better black and white film would look scanned by a monochrome camera. So I’m working on a comparo, and included the very nice ClearClick film scanner I recently reviewed. I covered part one in yesterday’s PE Vlog, and then thought I’d post the images here today for those of you who’d like a closer look.
FYI the original photos were shot with a Voightlander Bessa R Rangefinder and a Voigtlander Ultra Wide-Heliar 12mm f/5.6 Aspherical lens on Tri-X. I bought into the Bessa system to get a camera that fit the 12mm, which was the widest rectilinear lens available for 35mm film. Still have it and use it with adapters on my mirrorless cameras. Sold the rest of the Bessa system.
